Paper Trading League

Who we are

Paper Trading League is a free educational game that lets you practice trading with virtual money. There are no real funds, real orders, or real brokerage accounts involved at any point.

Data we collect

• Account info: email, display name, and sign-in provider (email or Google).
• Game data: virtual portfolio, trades, watchlist, challenge history, achievements, quiz progress, and in-app notifications.
• Device tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can send optional push notifications.
• Ads: Google AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers and approximate location/device data under Google’s policies.

How we use data

We use this data to run your account, sync your portfolio across devices, power leaderboards and challenges, send service notifications, improve the App, and show ads that help keep the App free.

Third parties

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and messaging.
• Google Sign-In — if you choose Google login.
• Google AdMob — advertisements.
• Market-data providers (e.g. Yahoo Finance public chart APIs) — simulated prices. Requests do not include your account identity.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and associated App data from Settings → Delete account. After deletion, auth credentials and the main user record are removed; residual analytics or ad logs held by Google are subject to their retention policies.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
